Configuring a transport type

Configure transport properties to link to transport types.

To configure transport types, do the following:

  1. In the Module menu, click Stevedoring.
  2. In the Menu bar, click Configuration.
  3. In the Submenu, click Transport > Transport Type.
  4. Click .
  5. Fill in the following fields:
    Field Task
    Code Fill in a short description of the name, for example NM
    Name Fill in the description in full, for example Name
    Cargo type Select the type of cargo the transport will be used for.
    Transport mode Select the type of transport you are creating.
    Context Internal Company Only Toggle the button to only use this transport for the current internal company or all internal companies.
    Status

    Toggle the Status button to (de)activate the configuration.
  6. Add transport properties in the Transport Property section:
    1. Click .
    2. Fill in the following fields:
      Field Task
      Property Select a value from the drop-down menu.
      Sequence If you are configuring several options, determine a place in the display order by using the up/down arrow buttons or filling in a number. For example, give the option you want displayed first 10 and the second 20.
      Default Fill in a default value.
      Required Toggle the button to make the property required or optional.
    3. Click Save.
  7. Click Save.
